While the sun is currently just a shimmer on ice and snow, we’re all craving for more of it. The perfect time, therefore, to pick up the longing for warm temperatures in the C&A 2022 lookbook for spring/summer season.
The expressive images made by our photography professionals build the perfect basis for this: the reduced background lets the styles shine in the spotlight; intentionally integrated rough nature textures highlight the summerly look of some of the outfits. For the Clockhouse part, an infinity cove with a cool tile décor provides a counterpoint to the individual Gen Z wear.
Although both collections play with vintage topics and flower motifs, they are worlds apart: ruffles, flounces, balloon sleeves, embroideries and vichy checks mixed with work wear elements such as overalls, patchwork and working jackets merge to a feminine line, whereas teenagers indulge in 90s silhouettes – with typical gang cuts such as baggy jeans or crop tops. And male styles aren’t left behind: their outfits play with Japanese influences ranging from traditional batik to manga. Highlights are the oversized unisex outfits; truly children of our time.
